Our first day went fairly well although it took longer than it should have because of an unforeseen detour. I-40 just past Asheville was closed due to a rock slide. Big detour. Looooong. Hard to find shortcuts on mountains.
Dogs traveled well. Zuri has no problems whatsoever. She gets into the car and falls asleep. Tessa finds things a little more complicated but she did lie down, although I don't think she slept at all.
