Dogs are tired now but resting comfortably...
Here we were stuck in our first congestion since the trip started. We moved at a snail's pace for a little over an hour, just before arriving in Albuquerque where we had hoped to take the dogs to a dog park. By the time we started moving, it was already dark so we gave up on that. Albuquerque, from what we drove through coming in, looks like a very nice city. The highway cutting through it was very pretty and well kept.
Very flat and far far away, you start seeing some mountains.
New Mexico is a nice state, we decided.
View from a Rest Stop. It was so bloody windy it was uncomfortable to be outside. Even the dogs were happy to get back into the car. The dogs, by the way, are angels. Not a peep, not a complaint.
Texas. Not a pretty part of Texas at all but it went by pretty fast because it was a small portion.
Then these fantastic things showed up. These wind turbines are huge and beautiful.
Oklahoma was actually quite pretty. Vast expanses of fields.
Self explanatory...
Over the Mississippi River into Arkansas. Arkansas was pretty boring so there aren't any more pictures.
Tennessee, not much to see
